Old Town Niwot

Founded in 1875 as a railroad town, the charming community of Niwot is nestled between Boulder and Longmont. The town was named after Arapaho Indian tribe leader Chief Niwot, meaning "Left Handed". Second Avenue offers a delightful assortment of small shops and restaurants providing the community with a small downtown appeal.

Niwot High School is nationally recognized in US News and World Report's Top High Schools, 2008. Niwot Schools are ranked in the top 5% of Colorado Schools.
Top private schools are located within minutes of Goldbranch. Including, Boulder County Day, Alexander Dawson School and Peak to Peak Charter School. Please note these schools have waitlists.
